IS A TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE, THE ONE AND ONLY IN 2021! THE “SUPER FLOWER BLOOD MOON” ON MAY 26, 2021
A total lunar eclipse takes place whenever a full moon moves into the Earth’s shadow. Although the best views will be from the Pacific Rim, especially Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand, many more will witness at least a partial eclipse.

The moon will appear to be red at some point. The east coast of the United States is not favored for viewing this time because the moon will be below the horizon when the total eclipse happens. But a telescope is always a plus for stargazing. The west coast of the U.S. and South America will be able to catch part if not all of the celestial action.
The astrology and spiritually minded see lunar eclipses as special times perfect for reflection, evaluation, and change. It also reminds us of the cyclical nature of life and nature’s phases of change and renewal.
For this reason, lunar eclipses are said to portend course-corrections in life, leaving behind what does not serve one well and embracing new, more satisfying ways of being and doing.
It is understood by many that whether one can actually see the eclipse or not, all will feel its energy and effects in some way. That’s why contemplation, meditation, affirmative prayer and journaling any inspirations that come, are typically recommended. Ancient religious and secular rituals offer clues as to the elements involved. These include music, incense, flowers (in this case red), candles, and in some cultural traditions…offerings.

Quienes estén en la costa este de los Estados Unidos no podrán presenciar el evento porque la Luna estará debajo del horizonte en el momento que ocurra el eclipse total.
Las mejor observación será en la región del Pacífico, especialmente Hawaii, Australia y Nueva Zelanda. Otros podrán observar un eclipse parcial.
